A. Personal Information

When you create a Trihp account (as a Rider or Driver), we collect: Full name, Phone number and email address, Profile photo, Gender (optional), Date of birth (optional), Identity verification data (Driver's License, NIN, vehicle documents, proof of address, for drivers only)

B. Location Information

Precise GPS location (when the app is running or during a ride), Pickup and drop-off locations, Route data and trip history. Location access is required for ride matching, navigation, and safety monitoring.

C. Payment Information

Wallet balance and transactions, Linked mobile money or card payment details (securely processed by payment partners), Transaction IDs and receipts. Trihp does not store your full card or mobile money credentials, all payments are handled by certified third-party providers.

D. Device and App Data

We may automatically collect: Device model, OS version, and app version, IP address and device identifiers, Crash logs and performance analytics. This helps us improve app stability and security.

E. Communications and Support

We collect messages and call logs (via in-app support or chat) when you contact Trihp or your driver/rider for support or feedback.

Create and manage your Trihp account. Match Riders with nearby Drivers and complete ride requests. Process payments, refunds, and wallet top-ups. Ensure rider and driver safety (via GPS tracking and trip sharing). Send notifications (ride updates, promotions, trip summaries). Prevent fraud, unauthorized activity, or misuse of the platform. Provide customer support and respond to inquiries. Improve our app experience and develop new features.

A. With Drivers and Riders

Rider's first name, pickup/drop-off location, and rating are shared with drivers. Driver's first name, vehicle details, photo, and rating are shared with riders.

B. With Third-Party Service Providers

We may share data with trusted partners who help us operate Trihp: Payment processors (for wallet and mobile money transactions), Cloud hosting and data storage providers, SMS, email, and notification service providers, Identity verification partners. All third-party partners comply with strict data protection obligations.

C. For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose your information: To law enforcement or regulators when legally required, To protect our rights, property, users, or the public, To investigate or prevent fraud or unsafe conduct

We retain your data only as long as necessary to: Provide active services, Meet legal or accounting obligations, Resolve disputes. Inactive accounts may be deleted or anonymized after a period of 24 months.

End-to-end encryption for sensitive data, Secure HTTPS communication, Role-based access control for internal systems, Regular security audits and monitoring. However, no online platform can guarantee 100% security. We encourage users to keep their app updated and avoid sharing login details.

Access and review your personal data, Correct inaccurate or outdated information, Request deletion of your account and associated data, Opt out of marketing messages (via app settings), Withdraw location or notification permissions (may affect functionality).
